The old city of Sydney is defined by its groups. From the Hyde Park Ranges to the Rocks Push, from the Roaches living in the abandoned buildings to the Trogs eking out a life in the tunnels beneath, the people of the city have co-existed together since not long after the crash.
Kings Cross and the Eastern suburbs have all the essential services, water, solar panels and batteries, if you've got the cred to live there.
The divide between rich and poor is wider than ever.
Most people live and work on the west side of the Great Dividing Range, where the machines of industry run day and night. Known as Westies by those east of the mountains, they are spread across a large area, each town having it's own specialisation.
If travelling South of Sydney avoid Hellsburgh, as the Bike gang known as The Trolls control the security of their crops quite zealously.
North sees  the Guringai people, who have brought life back to much of the central coast. Beyond them, towards the border is the flooded Rainbow region. Byron Bay is underwater and most of the action is in the hinterland. Nimbin is the place for specialised strains if you wish to partake in the regions famous crop.
